Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Chowk PS Case No.61 of 2018, registered under Sections 272/273/414/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is contended that neither any liquor was recovered from possession of the petitioner nor any other incriminating material showing his involvement except the confessional statement of apprehended accused Niranjan Rai and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Bharat Rai is directed to be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of
