2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No. 521 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Section 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code and later on POCSO Act was added.

3. The petitioner is said to have kidnapped the victim girl. From the statement of the victim girl, it appears that the petitioner and the victim girl had eloped. The petitioner is in jail since 17.10.2023.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties,
