The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Karai Parsurai P.S. Case No. 73 of 2014 for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding recovery of a cow and a calf from a Maize field.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither any recovery has been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner nor the said Maize field belongs to the petitioner. It is further submitted that a bare perusal of the F.I.R. would show that the petitioner has been implicated in the present case on account of him being having a history of such type of cases. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Karai Parsurai P.S. Case No. 73 of 2014. It is directed that the petitioner would mark his presence before the S.H.O. of the concerned police station at 10:00 AM on every Monday of the month and in the event of his failure on two consecutive occasions to mark his attendance, the present privilege of bail shall stand cancelled automatically.
