2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 526C of 2023 instituted under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. From the record, it appears that the matter was referred to Mediation but neither the petitioner nor his Advocate co-operated in the mediation. Today also, none has appeared for the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2 submits that the petitioner is interested only in delaying the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85895 of 2025(4) dt.18-06-2026 2/2 matter as he has got interim protection from this Court at the time when the case was referred to Mediation.

5. In these circumstances, this application is dismissed for non- prosecution.

6. The interim order dated 17.01.2026 is withdrawn.

7. The Court below is directed to proceed in the matter on day to day basis and conclude the trial at the earliest. The Court below is also directed to file the status report of the trial after three months.
