1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Janki Nagar P.S. Case no.273 of 2024 (Special Case no.118 of 2024) registered under sections 8C and 21C of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 100 bottles of 100 ml each of codeine syrup was recovered from the premises of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No incriminating article has been recovered from his possession or from his house. He has no criminal antecedent and is in custody

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1582 of 2025(3) dt.11-04-2025 2/2 since 28.7.2024. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner in the FIR, his being in custody for more than 8 months since 28.7.2024, chargesheet having been submitted in the case and specially the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Janki Nagar P.S. Case no.273 of 2024 (Special Case no.118 of 2024) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, NDPS Act, Purnia.
