1. This is an application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, filed by the petitioner, praying for condonation of delay of 18 years and 2 months in filing the instant Criminal Revision.
2. It is stated by the petitioner that he was gainfully employed in Surat when he was convicted in a case under Section 25 (1-b)a/26 of the Arms Act, 1959. After 18 years of conviction and sentence, he came to his village and came to know about the order of conviction and sentence.
3. Admittedly, the petitioner was the accused. On conviction and sentence, it was his duty to surrender before the Court.
4. In my opinion, there is no sufficient ground set forth by the petitioner in the instant case, where delay of 18

5. Accordingly, the application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act is dismissed.
6. With the dismissal of the application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, it is held that Criminal Revision No. 11 of 2025 is palpably barred by limitation and the Revision Application is also dismissed on the ground of limitation. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J) skm/- U
