2. The present petition has been preferred:
"for initiation of contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for willful and deliberate violation and non-compliance of order dated 24.06.2024 passed by the Hon'ble Court in CWJC No. 3791 of 2024 whereby & whereunder direction was given to the respondent no.2, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna to dispose of the Land Acquisition Case No. 16 of 2022-23 within a period of four months after hearing all the necessary parties."

3. A show cause has been filed on behalf of the opposite party and the paragraph nos. 6 and 7 shows that the entire file has been sent to the Presiding Officer, the Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority, Patna (henceforth for short 'the LARRA') vide letter no. 2407 dated 03.10.2024 (Annexure OP-2/2 to the show cause of the opposite party no.2).
4. The delay has already occurred and in that background, this Court expects that the concerned authority ('the LARRA') shall take up the matter and conclude at an earliest preferably within a period of six months.
5. The petition stands disposed of.
