Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 (1-b)a, 26/35 of the Arms Act. The petitioner is in custody since 08.05.2017. Allegation is that a country made pistol was recovered from his possession, while the petitioner was traveling with two others on a motorcycle.
Submission is that the petitioner is ready to cooperate with the trial. Considering the period already gone in custody, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35399 of 2018 (2) dt.26-06-2018 2/2 bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Samastipur (Mufassil) P.S. Case No.249 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
