Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)(a)/25/29 of the NDPS Act.

1137 Kgs of Ganja was recovered from a truck. The petitioner was cleaner of the truck.

Earlier the prayer for bail was refused by order dated 02.05.2019.

The report of the trial Judge dated 15.06.2020 reveals that out of seven, three prosecution witnesses have already been examined and due to Covid effect other witnesses could not be

Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail in connection with Khagaria P.S. Case No.230 of 2018. Hence, prayer for bail is refused. The trial-court is directed to expedite the trial. (Birendra Kumar, J) Mkr./- U T
