The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 477, 341, 323, 504, 307, 354, 354(A) (B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

A complaint has been filed stating inter-alia that on 13.02.2017 at 5:30 p.m. the petitioner and others entered into the house of complainant and asked the complainant to compromise in the case. Again they came on 23.02.2017 armed with different weapons, when the matter could not be materialized the accused persons assaulted the complainant and tried to carry his daughter Afsana Praveen forcefully and when

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37407 of 2018 (2) dt.05-07-2018 2 /2 objection was raised, all accused persons thrashed her and torn her cloths and tried to outright her modesty and also tried to kill the informant.

Earlier a case was lodged under Section 498 of Code of Criminal Procedure, the story has been made in the complaint. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioner, namely, Md. Saddam Ansari @ Saddam, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No.228 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
