====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 25-04-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 21(c), 22, 25, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

3. As per prosecution case, on secret information, a raid was conducted on 29.09.2024 in which 2.7 kg Ketamine along with several other illegal drugs were recovered from the house of co-accused Ganesh Rai.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no incriminating material has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner and he has got no concern with the alleged recovery. His name transpired only on the basis of statement of a watchman. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed

Considering nature of accusation and the fact that no incriminating material has been recovered from possession of the petitioner, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saran at Chapra in connection with Sonepur P. S. Case No. 815 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
