2. This application, for grant of regular bail, arises out of Simri Police Station Case No. 226 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 406, 467, 468, 471, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner is alleged to have cheated the informant of Rs. 46 lakhs and sold a plot of land to the informant which is under attachment by the DRT. It is also alleged that the petitioner and his father has shown a plot of land and finally executed a sale deed of another land. The petitioner is accused in some 11 more cases of similar and serious nature. The petitioner is in jail since 22.10.2023.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner is habitual

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2830 of 2024(2) dt.24-01-2024 2/2 offender of cheating the purchasers and in the present case also huge amount has been cheated, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application is dismissed.
