ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 17-06-2025 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, having regard to the fact that the petitioners have already ventilated their grievance before the concerned authority i.e. the Respondent No. 4 (S.D.O.-cum-Licensing Authority, Darbhanga), the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the parties. The Respondent No. 4 is directed to consider the representation dated 30.07.2024 (Annexure P/2 Series) as expeditiously as

Patna High Court CWJC No.984 of 2025(2) dt.17-06-2025 2/2 possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. In case, the authority is of the opinion that the grievance of the petitioners is genuine, necessary action for correction of the EPOS machine shall be taken. In case, the authority feels that the representation of the petitioners needs to be rejected, he shall pass a reasoned order giving the reasons for such rejection. It is needless to observe that before passing any order the petitioners shall be given an opportunity of hearing.

2. With the above observation, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of.
