2. The petitioners have prayed for bail in connection with Saharghat P.S. Case No. 90 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the marriage of the deceased, Indira Devi was solemnized in year 2019 with one Nitish Yadav. At the time of marriage, sufficient gifts were given. It is further alleged that the deceased was subjected to cruelty on account of non-fulfillment of dowry

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.87106 of 2025(2) dt.18-12-2025 2/3 demand by her in-laws. It is further alleged that her in-laws have killed her and hanged her body from the ceiling fan to give the impression of suicide.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. Petitioner no.1 is mother-in-law and petitioner no.2 is married sister-in-law of the deceased and both have been falsely implicated in this case. It has further been submitted that the nature of allegation is general and omnibus and there is no specific allegation against these petitioners. They are having no criminal antecedent and they are languishing in judicial custody since 12.07.2025.

5. The application for bail is vehemently opposed by learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant. Learned counsel for the informant has submitted that there is allegation against the petitioners that they have also assaulted the deceased.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. The above named petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) each with two
