2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has renewed his prayer on the ground that some co-accused have been granted bail and the informant in the present case has entered into a compromise with the petitioner and the petitioner has not been identified by the informant.

3. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected as the petitioner had participated in a dacoity and had similar or serious antecedents.

4. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

5. I have considered the submissions of the parties.

6. This is a case where the petitioner has committed

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2682 of 2024(2) dt.19-01-2024 2/2 docoity and then he is trying to influence the trial which has resulted into the informant turning hostile and not identifying in the trial.

7. In a case where the petitioner is tampering with the evidence, this Court will not grant bail to the petitioner. Moreover, in such a serious case, the petitioner is tampering with the evidence, this Court will not grant bail to the petitioner.

8. In view of the above, this application is dismissed again.
