That the respondent authorities be directed to pay by a writ of mandamus or by any other appropriate writ, order or direction, the remaining sum of Rs. 64,70,000/- (Rs. Sixty Four Lakhs and Seventy thousand only) besides the Rs. 10,50,000/- paid earlier towards the cost of supply of food grains in the camps put up for flood affected persons of the area which is being withheld by the authorities arbitrarily, capriciously, whimsically and against the letter dated 24.08.2016 contained in Letter no. 3174 (Disaster Management)."

Patna High Court CWJC No.25149 of 2019(2) dt.03-01-2023 2/2 counsel for the petitioner, under instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition reserving liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings, as are otherwise available in accordance with law.

Permission granted.

As and when such proceeding is initiated, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law.
