2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 16 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 498(A) and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. This is the second occasion seeking anticipatory bail on behalf of the petitioner. It would be pertinent to note that while entertaining the first application seeking anticipatory bail, this Court has taken note of the submission advanced on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got the benefit of Section 41(A) of the Cr.P.C. and has been extended the benefit of police bail and on such ground, the anticipatory application for the first time was dismissed. Now, again the petitioner has renewed his
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1506 of 2024(2) dt.19-01-2024 2/2 prayer for grant of anticipatory bail by filing the successive application.

Regard being had to the facts of the case, this Court without entering into the merits of the case confined itself to the extent of maintainability of the present successive application seeking grant of anticipatory bail, which is not maintainable, accordingly, reject the application filed on behalf of the petitioner with direction to the petitioner to surrender before the Court below at the earliest and seek regular bail before the court below.
5. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed as not maintainable.
