2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bypass P.S. Case No. 116/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner is in custody since 15.04.2023.

3. The petitioner and one Kaltu Mahto are said to have fired at the deceased.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
