Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A),304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of the victim of dowry death. The victim died in the house of the petitioner within two months of her marriage. Allegation is of demand of dowry and torture for non-fulfillment of the same.

Submission is that the victim committed suicide as she was not willing to marry with the petitioner. The aforesaid defence is not substantiated by any material on the record, hence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Sonepur P.S.Case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.81150 of 2019(3) dt.18-03-2020 2/2 No.644 of 2019 pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Saran, Chapra, Prayer is refused.

Learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
