The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kadamkuan PS case no. 548 of 2019 instituted for the offence punishable under Section 392 of Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding unknown accused persons having snatched the golden chain of the informant and having fled away on a motorcycle.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has not been arrested from the spot and no T.I. parade has been held so as to implicate the petitioner in the alleged crime. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 26.08.2019.

No.85474 of 2019(2) dt.07-01-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner and taking into account the fact that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 26.08.2019, I deem it fit and appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-JudgeXII, Patna in connection with Kadamkuan PS case no. 548 of 2019.
