Learned Advocate representing the petitioner submitted at the bar that during the pendency of the writ petition, now the family pension of the petitioner has been restored and, as such, his grievance to that extent has been redressed. It is further contended that on 08.08.2023, the Senior Accounts Officer, Bihar, Patna has issued a letter bearing letter no. 916 dated 08.08.2023 to the Treasury Officer, Siwan requesting therein to issue second copy of the P.P.O. bearing P.P.O. No. 201812041386 to the petitioner, in view of Rule 208- (Ka) of the Bihar Treasury Code, 2011. But, despite the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1 of 2024(2) dt.15-07-2024 2/2 aforenoted requests, the copy of the pension book has not been handed over.

3. Considering the submissions of the learned Advocate for the petitioner, the present writ petition stands disposed of.

4. The authorities are directed to take up the requests of the petitioner and issue second copy of the P.P.O., within a period of four weeks.
