Petitioner is in custody in connection with Bikram P.S. Case No. 236 of 2019 for the offence under sections 30(a) 37(b)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case total 10 liters of Mahua Wine was seized from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 28.07.2019. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for more than six months, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.430 of 2020(3) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Court of Excise, Patna, in connection with Bikram P.S. Case No. 236 of 2019 corresponding to special Case No. 6736 of 2019.
