The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No.245 of 2025 registered for the offence under section 75(1)(i) of the B.N.S., 2023 and under section 8/12 of the POCSO Act.

The petitioner is said to have tried to commit rape with the victim girl. He is in custody since 14.07.2025. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is the co-villager of the informant and due to village politics he has been made

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.88554 of 2025(5) dt.25-03-2026 2/2 accused in this case.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the period of custody of the petitioner, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge, POCSO-cum- Additional Sessions Judge, VII, Gayaji / concerned Court below, in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No.245 of 2025, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner.
