2. The present contempt petition has been filed for willfully disobeying the order dated 24.08.2023 of this Court passed in CWJC No.11588 of 2023.
3. In this regard, the specific statement has been made in paragraph no.5 of the show cause filed on behalf of O.P. nos. 6 to 8, which is re-produced hereinafter as follows : - "That in order to redress the grievance of the petitioner and other employees of the University who were employees of BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, prior to October, 1992, the University
Patna High Court MJC No.76 of 2024(8) dt.04-10-2024 2/2 had earlier paid a sum of Rs.2700000/- vide cheque no.272544 dated 15.02.2016 amounting to Rs.1200000/- and cheque no.443646 dated 15.12.2017 amounting to Rs.15,00,000/- in favour of Registrar, J.P. University, Chapra for settlement of dues."
4. In view of the above statement and the information given on behalf of O.P.No.6 to 8, the present contempt petition is disposed of.
5. However, if the petitioner is still aggrieved, he can approach the appropriate authority for redressal of his grievance.
6. The present Miscellaneous Jurisdiction Application is accordingly disposed of.
