Petitioner, apprehends his arrest in connection with Garbandanga P.S. Case No. 32 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504, 506, 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act.

Informant has alleged that his sister got married with son of the petitioner in the year, 2018 and after marriage his sister was being tortured by her in-laws for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83598 of 2019(2) dt.06-01-2020 2/2 that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner is the father-in-law of the victim and there is no specific allegation against him and allegations are general and omnibus in nature. It is further submitted that matter has been compromised between the parties and on the basis of said compromise the son of the petitioner has been granted bail by the lower court. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Considering the facts and circumstances of the present case, let petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on prearrest bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj, in connection with Garbandanga P.S. Case No. 32 of 2019, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
