JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the concerned respondent authorities to consider and appoint/post the petitioner on the post of Clerk in place of Family Planning Worker taking into account that the petitioner was recommended by District Compassionate Appointment Committee to be appointed on compassionate ground as Clerk but the concerned authorities have appointed him on the post of Family Planning Worker and that several similarly situated person who had been recommended on clerk have been

(ii) For further to direct the concerned respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and give similar treatment to similarly situated persons taking into account Bihar State Litigation Policy."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
