The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent authorities concerned to select and appoint the petitioner on the post of Anganbari Sevika in Ward no.01 Gram Panchayat Raj Takkipur, Block-Maharajganj, District-Siwan, who is at the first position in the merit list and suitable candidate to be selected and appointed, but the respondent authorities are lingering the matter since long and not appointing the

ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus for commanding and directing the respondents to dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner 12.09.2023, but till date the respondents have not taken decision and sitting tight over the matter since long.

iii) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Prohibition by restraining the respondent authorities concerned to not fill up the post of Anganbari Sevika in Ward no.01, Gram Panchayat Raj Takkipur, Block-Maharajganj, District-Siwan, where the petitioner has applied for selection, but till date she has not been appointed and her representation filed before the respondents is still pending.

iv) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent authorities concerned to pass an appropriate and speaking order on the representations of the petitioner dated 12.09.2023 filed before the respondent no. 4, 5 and 6."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
