JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-08-2018 The petitioner claims that though he appeared in Intermediate Examination, held by the Bihar School Examination Board, in 2017, his result has been withheld for unjustifiable reasons. It has been stated that he has approached the Bihar School Examination Board, in this regard, but the Bihar School Examination Board has not taken any decision on his representation made in June, 2017. A copy of the said representation has been brought on record by way of Annexure6. He has also submitted that he has invoked the Right to Information Act for obtaining certain information from the Bihar School Examination Board, which, too, has not been

So far as the petitioner's grievance against non-supply of information under the Right to Information Act is concerned, the petitioner has statutory remedy which he can very well invoke.

However, to the extent the matter relates to publication of result, the Court directs the Bihar School Examination Board to consider the petitioner's representation and take a decision within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order. It will be open to the petitioner to file afresh his representation before the Bihar School Examination Board along with a copy of the present order.

This application stands disposed of.
