JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 02/ 08-08-2018 The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 22.08.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 21549 of 2016 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 22.08.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 21549 of 2016 in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 304B of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that due to the lack of proper communication, the petitioner could not surrender in time.

Considering the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the period of surrender is extended by

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47998 of 2018 (2) dt.08-08-2018 three weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in connection with Punpun P.S. Case No. 233 of 2015 pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Masaurhi.

Accordingly, this modification application is disposed of.
