This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Nawada (Nagar) P.S. Case No.667 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

There is recovery of 240 litres of liquor. The petitioner is accused in twenty more similar and serious cases. 4.

It has been argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that in all the connected cases the petitioner is either on bail or he has been acquitted in the trial. 5.

The petitioner is in custody since 10.02.2022 in connection with present case.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Judge, 1st, Nawada, in connection with Nawada (Nagar) P.S. Case No.667 of 2018. 8.

This is also subject to the condition that both the bailors should be blood relatives of the petitioner and the petitioner will mark his presence in Nawada Police Station, District - Nawada on every Sunday of the month, failing which, his bail bonds shall be cancelled by the trial court.
