JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.(a) To direct the licensing authority to give license of Rifle for entire state to the petitioner which is pending since 2010 vide Arms License case No. 275/2010 for which petitioner is moving from pillar to post."

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Arms Officer, Buxar to dispose off the aforesaid pending Arms

Patna High Court CWJC No.1389 of 2024(2) dt.29-04-2024 2/2 License Case No. 275/2010 within a stipulated time frame.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid Arms License Case No. 275/2010 is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms Magistrate, Buxar to dispose off the aforesaid Arms License Case No. 275/2010, in case the same is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
