2. Father of the petitioner, who was a PDS dealer having Licence No. 76/2007, died on 29.08.2015. Thereafter, the petitioner being desirous of the PDS licence filed an application before the Licensing Authority i.e. the Sub-Divisional Officer, Narkatiyaganj, West Champaran on 02.10.2015 (Annexure-2) for grant of PDS licence on compassionate ground.
3. Having failed to get any response, petitioner filed an application before the Collector, West Champaran, but his application for grant of PDS licence on compassionate ground is not being considered.

4. This writ application is disposed off with a direction to the Licensing Authority i.e. the Sub-Divisional Officer, Narkatiyaganj, West Champaran to consider the application of the petitioner filed on 02.10.2015(Annexure-2) and dispose off the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
