2. This contempt application has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 09.11.2016 passed in CWJC No. 16304 of 2016 whereby, the State Government has been directed to take a decision as a matter of policy, whether they are willing to grant the status to these petitioners with regard to the diploma/degree which they had obtained from the Institution of Civil Engineers (India), Ludhiana.

3. Opposite party No. 2 has filed a show-cause wherein, in paragraph-5 it has been stated that a decision has been taken, whereby, it has been decided that since the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India has not recognised the degree granted by the Institution from where the petitioners have got the diploma/degree, who were registered after 31.05.2013 for giving employment under the services of Central Government, such a degree shall not be

4. In that view of the matter, I find that the order dated 09.11.2016 passed in CWJC No. 16304 of 2016 has been complied with by the respondents.

5. Accordingly, the contempt application stands closed and disposed off.
