The present writ petition has been by the petitioner for issuance of appropriate writ directing the respondents to declare the result of the selection process initiated against Advertisement No.11-2015 issued by the Inspector General of Police, West Bengal Sector, Central Reserve Police Force, Kolkata and further direction to the respondents to select this

Patna High Court CWJC No.341 of 2025(2) dt.21-01-2025 2/2 petitioner on the post of Constable (Cook).

Learned Counsel for the Union of India raised preliminary objection and submits that this is an advertisement of the year 2015 and the entire selection process has been completed in the year 2016 itself and after lapse of eight years the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with a relief to direct the respondent to select him on the post of Constable (Cook).

4. It transpires to this Court that petitioner has filed earlier a petition under Right to Information Act which was replied and thereafter this writ petition has been filed.

5. It transpires to this Court that this writ petition is devoid of merit as after a huge long gap this writ petition has been filed. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Mkr./- U
