The present modification petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking modification in the order dated 01.11.2023, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59784 of 2023, thereby granted thirty days' time to surrender before the learned trial Court in connection with Complaint Case No. 2451 of 2018, for extending the time by a further three weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been granted the privilege of anticipatory bail vide order dated 01.11.2023 with the direction to the petitioner to pay Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakhs and fifty thousand only) to the informant out of 6,50,000/- (Rupees six lakhs and

No.2281 of 2025(2) dt.17-01-2025 2/2 fifty thousand only) at the time of furnishing the bail bond within a period of thirty days and the remaining amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- (Rupees four lakhs only) shall be paid to the informant through demand draft in two equal installments. If the petitioner fails to pay the amount, the informant shall be at liberty for cancellation of the bail bond of the petitioner in the competent Court of law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner did not furnish the bail bond within the stipulated time given by this Court vide order dated 01.11.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59784 of 2023 because the petitioner had not arranged the amount to pay to the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now the petitioner has arranged the amount to pay to the informant. 6.

In view of the aforesaid, the order dated 01.11.2023, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59784 of 2023, is modified to the aforesaid extent and three weeks' further time is allowed to surrender in terms of the order dated 01.11.2023. 7.

Accordingly, the modification petition stands disposed of.
