2. Having regard to the fact that the it having an alternative and efficacious remedy of approaching the Electricity Ombusman under Section 42(6) of the Electricity Act against the orders of the CGRF, this Court is not enclined to entertain the present CWJC.

3. The present CWJC is disposed of at the stage of admission without going into the merits or demerits of the case with the consent of both the parties.

4. The petitioner is granted liberty to approach the Ombusman under Section 42(6) of the Electricity Act within a period of four weeks from today and on such complaint/appeal

Patna High Court CWJC No.3411 of 2024(9) dt.18-11-2024 2/2 being filed, the same shall be considered on its own merits by the Ombudsman and pass necessary orders.

5. The petitioner is free to agitate all the grounds raised in this Writ Petition before the Ombudsman and the Ombudsman shall consider the same. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of filing the appeal. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders, the parties shall be put on notice and given an opportunity of hearing. Any order passed shall be communicated to the parties.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
