JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, for commanding the respondents, especially respondent No. 3, to appoint the petitioner on post of Chaukidar in pursuant to meeting for appointment of dependents of dead Chaukidar/Dafadar, on the basis of
Patna High Court CWJC No.1159 of 2024(2) dt.22-02-2024 2/3 compassionate appointment in accordance with his application dated 24/04/2013, which was applied after death of his father Late Amrit Yadav on 04/11/12.
(ii). For that the Respondent No. 5 is being justified for submitting report of verification with regard to school certificate of petitioner without proper verification and cross check.
(iii). For issuing the writ/writs, order/orders, for directing the respondent Nos. 3 to appoint the petitioner on the post of Chaukidar, considering his representation of petitioner, dated 05/09/2013 & 31/10/2023 pending before respondent no. 3. (iv). For that the petitioner has been deprived from his legal rights, for which he was eligible, merely on the basis prosecution initiated against him on the basis of wrong facts and without proper verification of facts & documents.
(v). For that the petitioner has been deprived from his rights of being appointed on compassionate ground after death of his father Late Amrit Yadav, who died on 04/11/2012, while serving as Chaukidar."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of his aforesaid
Patna High Court CWJC No.1159 of 2024(2) dt.22-02-2024 3/3 grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
