2. The Court is taking a consistent view of not extending the time of surrender, if the petitioner has not surrendered within the time stipulated in the order by which he was granted anticipatory bail.

3. The modification application is rejected.

At this stage, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner could not surrender within the time stipulated in the order by which he was granted anticipatory bail as he was suffering from serious ailment, on which the learned APP, Mr. Chandra Bhushan Prasad submits that if petitioner was suffering from any ailment he could have sought modification of the order by which he was
