08-05-2018 Heard Sri Jai Prakash Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 17-02-2018 in Lakhisarai (Kabaiya) P.S. Case No. 64 of 2018 registered for offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a)/38(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, has drawn my attention to statement made in paragraph - 3 of the petition to show that petitioner is having clean antecedent. He further submits that on false accusation of recovery of about 18 liters of Indian make foreign liquor, kept in a bag, the petitioner has been apprehended.

Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24300 of 2018(3) dt.08-05-2018 2/2 as well as period of custody, let the petitioner namely Pramod Kumar @ Lola be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl.
