The petitioner has been in custody since 23.02.2018 in connection with Lalaganj P.S. Case No. 09 of 2014 for the offence registered under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he surrendered after disposal of the anticipatory bail application. It is further submitted that the petitioner's name has surfaced on the confessional statement made before the police by the co-accused, which has no evidentiary value. It is further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 26.09.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 37099 of 2014 and its analogous case.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc.
