This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Chhatauni P.S. Case No.13 of 2023 (NDPS Case No. 13 of 2023) registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8 & 20(b)(ii)(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act. 3.

The recovery is of 04 kgs. of charas from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 16.02.2023.

Considering the quantum of charas recovered from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this application is accordingly rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible. In case, there is delay in trail not attributable to the petitioner, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
