Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to either release the petitioner's landed properties or to pay adequate compensation, as these properties, according to the petitioner, have been encroached upon by the Hazipur Municipal Corporation and a pakka road has been constructed over it. The petitioner claims ownership based on the Cadastral Survey Records of Right, which, however, are not readable.

Therefore, without entering into the merits or demerits of the case, this Court directs respondent Nos. 7 to pass an order on the representation of the petitioner as contained in Annexure P/9 to the Writ Petition, after serving and verifying with the concerned department that whether the land in question belongs to the petitioner or not?

4. In this regard, the petitioner is directed to file clear and legible Cadastral Survey Records of Right, as well as documents relating to any Ceiling Case, if pending or disposed of, concerning the petitioner's family, if any. Upon receiving all relevant documents, the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, shall pass a reasoned and speaking order after hearing all concerned parties within six months.

5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed off.
