2. This application, for grant of regular bail, arises out of Matiaria Police Station Case No. 48 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 386, 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Prosecution case is that extortion of Rs. 12 lakhs was demanded from the informant. No materials have come during the investigation to connect the petitioner with the crime. The petitioner is accused in two more cases out of which one case of extortion. The petitioner is in jail since 06.07.2023.

4. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is

5. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Matiaria Police Station Case No. 48 of 2023.

6. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall mark his presence in Ram Nagar Police Station, West Champaran on first Sunday of every month. Any default in appearance at the police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.
