The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 125 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 417 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation of the prosecution is that the thumb impression of the petitioner herein was taken at the time of written examination for the purposes of selection to the post of constable, however, the same did not match with the thumb impression taken at the time of final test. In such view of the matter, it has been alleged that the petitioner had cheated the concerned authority for getting a job of constable. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28434 of 2018(2) dt.09-05-2018 2/2 the petitioner is an unmarried girl and she has committed no offence. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in jail since 23.03.2018 and she is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that in similar situations, other accused persons of other F.I.Rs lodged in same police station have already been enlarged on regular bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Patna in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 125 of 2018.
