ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 23-06-2025 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that he has given a suitable representations to the authority concerned for rectifying the E-POS Machine however, the authority till date have not taken any action to rectify the same. Learned counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to the representations (Annexure-P/3) dated 26.07.2021 and 27.07.2021 respectively. Learned counsel seeks a direction of this Hon'ble Court to direct the authority concerned (i.e., respondent No. 4 herein) to verify the E-POS Machine and rectify the same.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent-State states that the representations given by the petitioner are very old given way back in the year 2021 and may not be available before the

Patna High Court CWJC No.252 of 2025(4) dt.23-06-2025 2/2 authority concerned. Learned counsel further states that the petitioner may be directed to give a fresh representation to the authority concerned and the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

Having regard to the above, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to give a suitable representation ventilating his grievance before the respondent No. 4 within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation being given, the authority concerned shall verify the claim of the petitioner and take necessary action for rectification of the E-POS Machine. In case the authority finds that there is no merit in the claim made by the petitioner, they shall pass a reasoned order rejecting the claim of the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of representation made by the petitioner. Any order passed shall be communicated to the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
