The Petitioner seeks bail in Belchhi P.S. Case No. 11 of 2017(Sessions Trial No. 713 of 2017) registered for the offence punishable under Sections 394, 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, and later on section 396, 412, 120B of the IPC were also added.

Allegation against the petitioner is of helping in concealing the cash box of the Punjab National Bank containing Rs. 50 Lacs in his house which was looted by his three sons after killing Security-guard of the Bank and was recovered by Police on confession made by his son.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and is helpless. Petitioner has got no criminal

Considering the fact that the cash box was recovered from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

However, the petitioner is granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail after completing one year of custody in jail. (S. Kumar, J) ranjan/- U
