The petitioners are accused in connection with Samastipur (Mufasil) P.S. Case No. 538 of 2019, registered under Sections 447, 341, 323, 385, 387, 307, 379, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 37(C) of the Bihar Excise Act.
The accusation is that both petitioners along with three unknown came at Krishna Hospital, Adarshnagar, where informant, Gaurikant Thakur, was working as compoundar and started to create nuisance at the gate having pistol in their hand.

No.85187 of 2019(2) dt.10-01-2020 2/2 When the informant made protest then petitioner no. 1 asked about Doctor, saying that ransom of Rs.50,000/-, which was demanded, has not been given by the Doctor. Thereafter, all started to caused assault to him through fist and slaps. When he made protest then petitioner no. 1 fired twice but anyhow he saved himself. Thereafter, all entered in the clinic and started to cause assault to him through fist and slaps. In the meantime, other staffs of the clinic came there then they were also abused and at that time, due to fear, he gave cash of Rs.7,500/- to petitioner no.2, who also asked to give remaining amount within one week otherwise Doctor will be killed.
Learned counsel for the petitioners Submits both petitioners are in custody since 31.10.2019.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the similar nature of other cases pending against them as detailed in para 3 of the petition, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, their prayer for grant of bail stands rejected.
