2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 366, 342, 506, 376 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 05.06.2024, this petitioner, along with co-accused Dhawani Kumar, pulled the informant from the bus and took her towards Khagaria on his motorcycle and started pressurizing her for marriage and at around 10 PM, they raped her on the point of pistol and thereafter, it is alleged that they also assaulted informant and dropped her near her house. The victim in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. has supported the prosecution case.

4. Considering the specific and direct nature of accusation and statement of victim recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
