2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 29.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9815 of 2023.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail on 29.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9815 of 2023 with a direction to surrender before the Court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 2, Samastipur in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9204 of 2024(2) dt.17-02-2024 2/2 connection with Tajpur (Halai) P.S. Case No. 559 of 2022, due to ill, the petitioner could not surrender and execute the bail bonds before the Court below within the stipulated time.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to extend the time for furnishing the bail bonds of the petitioner.

5. In view of the matter, let the time to surrender of the petitioner, as ordered on 29.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9815 of 2023 be further extended by six weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

6. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 29.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.9815 of 2023 is modified to the above extent. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) Gautam/- U T
