The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 638 of 2018, registered under Sections 489A, 489B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is that in the evening of 05.11.2018, petitioner, along with Santosh Mukhiya, Bunty Jha and Chhotu Mukhiya, came at the grains shop of informant, Vinod Pasi, purchased grains and handed over three currency notes of Rs.100/- denomination, they also purchased two packets of cigarette and handed over one currency note of Rs.100/- denomination, took the breakfast from Heera Mandal and handed over one currency note of Rs.100/- denomination, they took the tea and betel from Devendra Mahto and handed over a currency note of Rs.100/- denomination. On next morning,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.81313 of 2019(2) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 when the informant and others came at their shops, they found that the notes, which were handed over by the petitioner and others fake.
Submission is that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 20.09.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 638 of 2018 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul.
